Find two sites that in some way describe China’s economic system. It would be ideal if you could find sites that contrast the way Chinese businesses work with the way businesses are run in the United States. Do these sites help you understand some of the stories in Jin’s The Bridegroom any better?

Ha Jin's The Bridegroom, was made a little more believeable after reading these wabsites. Although they did not explain how business is conducted it did explain the governments role in business creating a clearer image of the concept of business. I also learned, as well, how lucky we are to live in America where the government does not do much more than tax us.
