In my opinion, the most difficult thing about revising my own paper is the fact that I wrote it. :D When rereading for revisions, even when I know something needs to be worded dfferently i can not think of how else to say the same thing. Also when reading my paper if something is missing or i reversed 2 words i subconsciencly fix it and thus do not pick up on the mistake.
